SIGHTED: Fresh Market Style
WHO: Sarah Bosserman
WHAT: The Classic White Shirt
WHERE: Central Market York
WHY: The awkward transition between seasons always presents the greatest sartorial challenges. Fashion week just ended in New York and London where they are showing beautiful Spring 2017 collections that won't hit stores for months but which are perfect for our current weather. Pumpkin spice is everywhere signaling that Fall is around the corner but the sun is still blazing at 90 degrees. What to do? What to wear? I spotted Sarah at Downtown York's Central Market and she has the answer! The classic white shirt is always the perfect bridge between the seasons and will never do you wrong. Clean. Crisp. Classic.
SIGHTED: The Green Bean, Downtown York
WHO: Downtown Yorker
WHAT: Slim fit
WHERE: Green Bean Coffee Company
WHY: I have seen this young man several times on the move in Downtown York. He moves so fast however that this was the first time I was able to capture his slim street style without the picture being a blur! It is always refreshing to see a young professional who eschews the expected bagged khaki pants and polos to wear clothing that actually fits. Not to tight. Not to baggy. Fit is everything!
SIGHTED: Good Old Navy
WHO: Corey
WHAT: Blue on Blue
WHERE: Philadelphia Street, Downtown York
WHY: The anticipation of Fall and sweater whether has me focused on the colors of the German rainbow! The German rainbow?! You know . . . grey, black, white, camel, army green and NAVY!! I always feel that these neutrals are timeless and I never look back and regret wearing them. I love that Corey took one of my favorite neutrals (NAVY!) and made it a head to toe monochromatic look. It looks easy and effortless.
