Mary Jo Huyard, owner and designer of Savannah House, grew up near Savannah, Georgia. She started working in the industry 20 years ago in a drapery shop as a summer job while in high school. Huyard says, “It didn’t take long for it to become part of my DNA.” Savannah House offers custom draperies and curtains, pillows, bedding, and window treatments—basically everything you need to make your home look stunning. Savannah House is inspired by the timeless designs of the South and the beauty found in even the smallest details. While Savannah House has been operating in Lancaster County for more than 12 years, the business recently opened its first retail location and showroom, where you can enjoy special events like First Fridays, feel the difference of its bespoke fabric collection, and imagine the possibilities in your own home.
