Sign up by filling out the Volunteer Inquiry Form and you will be notified by email of volunteer opportunities. There are numerous COVID-19 guidelines in place to ensure everyone’s safety.
Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City Region

New Hope Ministries
There are six locations across the valley that need your help with New Hope Ministries’ Christmas Blessing Express. Volunteer positions include decorating, loading cars, sorting, distributing, stocking gifts, and more. There are multiple days and times to volunteer according to location. Humane Society of Harrisburg Area

The animals of HSHA are in need of supplies this holiday season. Donations of items like litter, food, and towels or blankets is always appreciated. There is also a need for office and cleaning supplies like paper towels, laundry detergent, copy paper, and sheet protectors. Their website provides a link to the shelter’s most needed items.
Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties
The DVSCP is accepting donations at their emergency shelter. Items include cleaning supplies, towels, clothing, personal care items, and Giant gift cards. The Men’s and Women’s Mission are asking for donations of clothing, shoes, sheets, cleaning supplies, and personal care items.
