1. Subs and Sushi
Tsunami Express recently moved operations inside Bruno’s in downtown Lancaster. Returning customers stop by for favorites such as the red dragon roll and to see what is new and fresh on the menu. As of now they only have six signature rolls, but they are working on a larger menu with more variety. New items that are in the works are the sushi sandwich (pictured above), bao buns, and hot foods. -BL

2. Cooking With Some Zest
Zest!, best known for its foodie shop in downtown Lititz, is continuing to cater to the ultimate home chef by opening up a new cooking school in the Shops at Brighton. The classes range from $55 to $75 and can hold up to 24 students per class. Classes range from kids’ cooking to date nights that include wine and are all conducted by professional chefs. Anyone can register for classes online and sign up for emails for their upcoming events. The new venue will also be available to rent for different events such as birthdays and showers. -BL

3. For the Love of Local Food
Central Pennsylvania always brings its “A-game” when it comes to fresh and local foods. Provisions in Harrisburg is a healthy grocery store partnering with local vendors to provide its customers with clean, wholesome foods. The store strives for sustainability, making its mission to provide a nearly zero-waste shopping experience. On several Fridays throughout the warmer months, the store features “Flower Fridays,” a sale of unique floral bouquets by WildFlower florist of Harrisburg. 4. French Flair in Harrisburg
You might be asking yourself where the Eiffel Tower is after eating at Bon Appetit Crêperie, located at the Broad Street Market in Harrisburg. The crêperie is inspired by both French and African flavors, using local and international ingredients. A second location will open this spring in Midtown. The new storefront will be open most days of the week and will feature monthly events like “Make Your Own Crepe” days. Visit Bon Appetit on market days, Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. -SH
