Looking back one year ago, I would have been fighting to keep two nosey cats off of my keyboard and out of my Zoom calls on a daily basis. Now that we’re back in the office, I tend to miss those pen-stealing, keyboard napping guys. One of the hardest parts of coming back to the office for our entire team was leaving our fur babies at home, so when it came time for our annual Cutest Pet Contest, our team was ready to gush over the cuteness. While we aren’t allowed to vote in the contest as staffers, we certainly have had our internal (somewhat loud) conversations about who we each think is the cutest. Though we keep our staff favorites secret, you can check out who the readers voted the cutest on page 27.
It seems we’re not the only ones obsessed with our pets. Have you heard of Harrisburg’s newest sweet treat, Honey Bear Ice Cream? This vegan-friendly business is actually named after the owner’s rescue dog who they nicknamed Honey Bear—she’s also one of this month’s cover stars. Learn more about this new business on page 12.
