The Argires Marotti Neurosurgical Associates of Lancaster staff enjoys exploring numerous treatment options with patients—many of them “innovative, technology-driven” options, says Shawn Taylor, practice administrator.
“When you’re in chronic pain, such as constant back pain, and you can’t get relief, patients need someone to hear their voices and receive the care they need,” says Taylor. “What’s different about our practice is our approach—you’re not automatically going into surgery as your first option. Patients often need alternative options that are not medication-based or surgically-driven.”
Argires Marotti treats, but is not limited to, patients experiencing back or neck pain, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and migraines. Argires Marotti also offers screenings for early-onset Alzheimer’s disease/dementia.
When surgery is needed, patients are in capable and talented hands, says Taylor. Three doctors lead the practice—Dr. Perry J. Argires and Dr. Louis A. Marotti, both focus on brain and spine surgery; Dr. Jarod B. John is a neurologist.
“Ultimately, our goals are to promote your successful recovery and to assist you in enjoying a long-term, healthy and active lifestyle,” Taylor says.
