A family-owned general store founded in 1887, Bomberger’s has grown—six generations later—into a full-service “community home store” perhaps best known for Ace Hardware and John Deere products.
“Bomberger’s is 130 years old, but we’re continually finding new ways to innovate,” says Will Hagelgans, who manages the rapidly-expanding Interior Spaces division. “Our goal is to be a one-stop shop for homeowners. Eventually we will offer professional installation of anything sold in Ace Hardware—that sets us apart.”
Bomberger’s Interior Spaces offers full or partial kitchen and bathroom remodels, all types of flooring from vinyl to hardwoods and carpeting, cabinets, countertops, paint, plumbing and a growing range of services from professional painting to certified interior design expertise.
On any given day, 25 crews from Bomberger’s Interior Spaces division are working throughout the Susquehanna Valley community. But Hagelgans says community connections extend much further.
“We participate in charity events, especially in Lititz; donate to area parks and fix gazebos; volunteer for Children’s Miracle Network; and even send a Bomberger’s team to Jamaica every year in support of Youth with a Mission (YWAM). We feel it’s important work, reflecting our reputation as your community home store.”
