Winter Lecture Series:Keystone Conservationists
to
Cooper Student Center at HACC Gwendale, Pennsylvania
Ned Smith needs little introduction to most Pennsylvania naturalists and outdoor enthusiasts. A native of central Pennsylvania, this prolific artist, writer and photographer was respected internationally for his extraordinary body of work depicting wildlife and natural history, including thousands of paintings and drawings, hundreds of articles
and many books. Join author and researcher Scott Weidensaul, a founder of the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art in Millersburg, for an exploration of Ned Smith’s work, much of which Weidensaul edited for the new book of Smith’s writing, "Gone for Another Day."
Please note that this program will be at HACC’s Cooper Student Center, unlike the others in the series. From Industrial Road enter HACC Gate 3, park in lot W6 or 8, and walk across the bridge to the center. Picture provided by the Ned Smith Center.
