The student will learn the foundations of interaction design and how to craft engaging user experiences from the start of the design process. The scope of the course will cover everything from what makes a good user experience, to setting goals for small and large-scale projects, to designing multiple prototypes and site maps and/or wireframes. Emphasis will be placed on high-level, conceptual project planning and the framework that goes into projects of varying sizes, and how to leverage feedback to rapidly iterate on the design to deliver the most effective design. This class counts towards the Digital Design: Web certificate.
