Sunnyside: Off the Wall
Demuth Museum E. King St., Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17602
The original Sunnyside Mural is on view at the Demuth Museum in its entirety after recent conservation. This mural was created in 1930 by a group of artists and friends including Charles Demuth and tells a story of a young couple traveling through Lancaster County with clever uses of double entendre and whimsy. This exhibition explores relationships between the written word and visual art, as well as an explanatory section on the conservation of this special addition to the museum’s collection.
Museum Hours: Tues-Sat 10-4, Sundays 1-4
Price: Admission by donation
