On Saturday June 4, 2016, the City will be host to the 40th annual Red Rose Run in Downtown Lancaster. This is a 5 mile race through the City and County Park, bringing over 1,000 runners to Downtown. The Red Rose Run also includes a kids fun run and wheelchair race. The proceeds will benefit Lancaster Central Market.
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Red Rose Run, we are proud to introduce the Michelob ULTRA Beer Garden, presented by Wilsbach Distributors! Runners are invited to visit the Michelob ULTRA Beer Garden after the race until 11 AM to enjoy a cold beer, courtesy of Michelob ULTRA. Only runners are permitted in the Beer Garden, and must be 21 or older to drink. Minors accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21 will be permitted. Runners are required to show a valid ID at packet pickup to receive a wristband. Runners must present both a valid ID and their wristband on race day to enter the beer garden.

North on Queen Street, East on Lemon Street, South on Duke Street, West on Chesapeake Street, 1st block take bridge over Conestoga River then SE on Rockford Road, North on Duke Street, West on Walnut Street and South on Queen Street to finish.
5 Mile Run — 8:00 am
North on Queen Street, East on Lemon Street, South on Duke Street, West on Chesapeake Street, 1st block take bridge over Conestoga River then SE on Rockford Road, North on Duke Street, West on Walnut Street and South on Queen Street to finish.
Kids Fun Run — 9:30 am Will be roughly a ½ mile.
