Join celebrated clarinetist, David Shifrin, a former artistic director of the Chamber Music Society at Lincoln Center, cellist Peter Wiley, a former member of the legendary Guarneri Quartet, and pianist Anna Polonsky for a program of rarely performed Romantic music for clarinet, piano and cello by Gabriel Faure, Francis Poulenc, Alexander von Zemlinsky, and Nino Rota, who is best known for his film scores, including his Oscar-winning score to Coppola’s Godfather II. There will be a pre-concert talk with Dr. Dick Strawser at 7:15 pm.
