Penguin Plunge

Event registration begins at 10:00AM, Plunge goes off at Noon

Join hundreds of HSHA supporters as they "take the plunge" for homeless animals on New Year's Day! The Penguin Plunge is an annual fundraiser for the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area (HSHA) that has become a central Pennsylvania tradition for both HSHA and the City of Harrisburg. During the event, more than 300 HSHA supporters “take the plunge” into the icy waters of the Susquehanna River, as hundreds more watch from the shore. Individuals who raise over $75 will receive an event towel. For teams to receive towels, each member must raise at least $75.
