Palmyra Area ChiliFest & Chili Cook-Off

Come for food, fun, and friendly competition at Palmyra’s annual ChiliFEST & Chili Cook-Off to be held on October 6, 2018 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at First UMC, 520 East Birch Street, Palmyra. Professional chefs and restaurant owners from the area will judge the entries and award the top three Best Chili Recipes, and WHP’s own RJ Harris will be there to emcee the event. Entrance to the ChiliFEST is FREE. You can also purchase a spoon to taste and vote for your favorite chili to win the “PEOPLE’S CHOICE” Trophy!
Besides the chili for tasting, there will be lunch fare available: House Chili, Walking Tacos, Baked Potatoes, Chicken Breast Sandwiches, Chicken Fingers, Chips, Drinks and more! The kids will enjoy games and activities at this event for the whole family! Feeling brave? Enter our Hot Pepper Eating Contest sponsored by Babe’s Grill House in Palmyra. Yes, participants will have to sign a waiver!
Numerous area businesses are contributing to ChiliFest including: Fabio’s Restaurant, Triple Strength, Lisa’s Café, Blose Printing and Signs, Landisville Farms, Berk’s Packing Company, and Babe’s Grill House.

The ChiliFest is coordinated by First UMC, Gravel Hill UMC, Trinity UCC, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Life Connections, and Palm Lutheran Church. Proceeds will benefit their youth programs.
