Organist Chase Loomer in Concert

Arts on the Square presents Chase Loomer, Master’s student at the Yale University Institute of Sacred Music, where he studies organ with world famous Martin Jean. He completed his Bachelor’s of Music in organ performance at the prestigious Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Chase was featured in the Rising Star series at the 2016 AGO National Convention in Houston. He has presented concerts throughout the country and has been featured on the radio broadcast "Pipedreams Live!" on several occasions.
Mr. Loomer will play works by: Mendelssohn, Buxtehude, Widor, Hampton, and Howells on the church's 83-rank Aeolian-Skinner/Moller organ.
A suggested donation of $10 will be received at the door and will benefit the church's Organ Restoration Fund. Parking will be provided by the church in the adjacent city-owned parking garage. The church is handicapped accessible.
