Organ Spooktacular
to
Market Square Presbyterian Church S. 2nd Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17101
Arts on the Square, a series of musical and artistic events, will present the second annual Organ Spooktacular at Market Square Presbyterian Church, 20 South Second Street, Harrisburg, on Friday, November 1, at 7:30 p.m.
Organ Spooktacular is a unique blend of somewhat creepy organ music on one of the city’s largest pipe organs, comedy, dancing, and dramatic choral and solo singing. Organists Tyler Canonico, Ellen Hunt, and Jordan Markham will get the ball rolling with classics like Gigout’s sonorous Toccata in B Minor and Mendelssohn’s melancholy Hebrides Overture. They will soon be joined by community actors, dancers from The Studio in Enola, and the Market Square Singers performing selections from the grisly Broadway classic “Sweeney Todd.” All of this is set to a professional light show by Eslinger Lighting.
Tickets for Organ Spooktacular are $15.00 for general admission and $10.00 for children 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased at click for details or by calling Tyler Canonico at (717) 257-1270 ext. 18 or canonico@marketsquarechurch.org.
The church will provide parking in the city-owned Market Square Garage adjacent to the church. Access to the church building is from the first level of the garage or from the Second Street entrance closest to the garage.
