Midstate Ballet Presents The Nutcracker

Under the artistic direction of Lori Pergament, The Midstate Ballet of GYDance will present its sparkling holiday classic, The Nutcracker, in a performance on Saturday, December 13 at 7:00 PM and Sundy, December 14 at 2:00 PM at the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center. The Nutcracker, a Best of York favorite is a timeless classic, danced to the music of Tchaikovsky. The tale of the Nutcracker, written by E.T.A. Hoffman in 1816, has fascinated artists and audiences for many years. The ballet will delight persons of all ages with its magic, battles and pageantry.
