Mid-Century Modern Architectural Bus Tour

In conjunction with the 1960s Exhibit at the Cumberland County Historical Society, the Society is sponsoring a bus tour that will focus on 15 buildings including 12 homes that represent an architectural style that was popular during that era, mid-century modern. Not every building built during this era utilized the mid-century modern style,but the style is particularly representative of the culture of the era. the buildings on the tour are in Camp Hill, Lemoyne, and Mechanicsburg. They were built between 1945 and 1975, the time period when mid-century architecture was in vogue. The tour includes entrance to 2 mid-century modern churches and one private residence. The tour will end at the home of Jason and Rachel Illari and it will include a light supper. There is limited seating on the bus so make your reservations today to secure your spot on the bus.
