Latin American Festival

The first annual Latin American Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 at Lancaster’s Binn’s Park, N. Queen Street, Lancaster, Pa. from 9AM-8PM. The festival will feature food, live music and entertainment from several Latin American countries. Admission is free. The festival is suitable for all ages. Attendance is expected to reach or surpass 3,000 people.
The festival begins in Binn’s Park at 9AM with an opening ceremony followed by several dance and musical performances. Food and merchandise vendors will be set up along N. Queen St. and there will be face painting and balloon twisting for the children. The closing ceremony, in Binn’s Park, will take place at 8PM.
The entertainment schedule will include Central PA’s own Sonora Los Fantásticos, special presentations from Edwin Lebrón and Frankie Negrón as well as the Mariachi band “Real de México”. The festival will also feature live bachata, merengue, salsa, Andean, urban and reggaeton musical selections for your dancing and listening pleasure.
