HBC Three Creek Century

The HBC Three Creek Century will be held on Sunday, Sept. 16 at the Penn Township Fire Department complex at 1750 Pine Road in Newville.
This Century offers quiet rural roads that wind through beautiful western Cumberland County. Choose routes of 25, 50, 75 or 100 miles.
The Cumberland Valley Rail Trail offers an option for riders looking for a scenic no-traffic ride. Ride from Newville to the fully supplied rest stop at Shippensburg Township Park and back for a total of 18 miles.
Registration for the Century is $30 until Aug. 15 which includes a picnic lunch, well-stocked rest stops, marked routes, cue sheets and support services. Riders under 18 years of age are only $5.
Pre-registration is recommended as over 500 riders participate in this Century each year. However, onsite registrations are welcome. The Three Creek Century is now part of the Central Pennsylvania Bicycling Trifecta. The Trifecta brings together the Penn State Chocolate Tour in Hershey on August 4, the Lancaster Bicycle Club’s Covered Bridge Classic on August 19 and the Harrisburg Bicycle Club’s Three Creek Century near Carlisle to form central Pennsylvania’s premiere cycling event.
