Get out your forks! It’s time for Flavors of York!

The gala food-tasting event moves to the spacious Wyndham Garden hotel near the West Manchester Mall this November, again offering samples of food prepared by 20 of York’s best restaurants.

This year’s presenting sponsor is Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors. Flavors of York runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017. Tickets are $40 each in advance by calling 717-843-2676 or by visiting www.flavorsofyork.com. If any remain, they’ll be $45 at the door.

Restaurants that have finalized their paperwork so far are: Anstine’s Candy, the Blue Heron, the Box Hill Grill, Essan Thai, Handsome Cab, John Wright Restaurant, Mezzogiorno, Mi Caldero. Roost Uncommon Kitchen, Revival Social Club, Rockfish Public House, Sweet Willows Creamery, The Fizzy Bee, The Busy Bee, Tutoni’s, Viet Thai Café, Wyndham Garden, York City Pretzel, and Zanelli’s.

Other offerings include silent auctions featuring gift certificates for restaurants, golf packages, event tickets and more. And there will be music by York’s jazz standards band, Five/Four.

Proceeds benefit Temple Beth Israel in York Township and its Doing Good for Goode™ project at Goode Elementary School in York City. Temple members are working to bring the community together to support the education opportunities at the school, named for a former TBI rabbi.
