Join The Lancaster Gallery Guide for a weekend of fine art during First Friday and Spring Art Walk May 6, 7 & 8. Our thirteen galleries are featuring new artwork, artist receptions, and special exhibits all weekend long!

Michael Bartmann’s Industrial Lancaster opens First Friday. Michael writes that he was inspired by “Lancaster’s industrial past and surviving architecture.” Perhaps you will be able to spot some of Lancaster’s landmarks in his works. Meet Michael during First Friday and at various times throughout Art Walk weekend!
Mulberry Art Studios|19-21 N Mulberry Street
Two new exhibits will open on Friday. Michael Dutcher’s GAIA, Our Mother from the Subatomic to the Galactic is an exhibit of paintings depicting the beauty of man and nature working harmoniously together. Warwick High School Graduate Jennifer Bowman turned to art to help her cope with painful headaches. See her work, titled A Little of This and Some of That.

With a personality as vibrant as her paintings, Belgium born artist Christiane David gallery is filled with an eclectic array of watercolors, acrylic, and oil paintings— it is no doubt one of the most vibrant colorful galleries you’ll find anywhere. Regardless of the medium or the subject matter, every painting, large or small, is a dramatization of color, texture, and dimension.

The gallery is hosting students from Lancaster Career and Technology for a weekend of exhibits, interactive stations, and family-friendly fun.
Enjoy impressive work from students in Commercial Art, Photography & Digital Imaging, Digital Design/Print Media, and Visual Communications. The community is invited to join in during interactive sessions like frosting rose petals, card making, and face painting.

Places. Participate in a DIY spring flower project during Art Walk—this is a creative project for all ages.
