Daniel Kuester is the director of undergraduate studies in economics at Kansas State University and holds the school’s Roger Trenary chair for excellence in economic instruction. He is also the executive director of the Association of Arid Lands Studies. Kuester has authored or co-authored publications in The Journal of Economic Education, The Forum of the Association for Arid Land Studies and The Journal of Economics and Finance. His primary research interest is in the area of economics education and how faculty can use compelling and current examples in the classroom. He has also published research on the history of economic thought and the economics of sports.
