Please note, buying a ticket for the concert DOES NOT register you for the reception; must be done separately. MU Student & Visiting Student (any age, any level) tickets are free with a valid ID at a ticket office location or at the door.
In her farewell performance, season favorite Dr. Renfroe will be DANCING THE NIGHT AWAY, classically. The dual artistry of Renfroe and Ioannis Potamousis will feature beloved selections by Brahms, Dvorak, Debussy, Ravel, Barber, Piazzola, Prokofiev, and Rachmaninoff.
Following the program in Steinman Hall, there will be a reception in the foyer of the Ware Center. We hope you will take the opportunity to greet Dr. Renfroe and wish her well as she relocates to Florida in June.
Over 2000 music majors have taken her courses in class piano, piano pedagogy, and major performance instruction. This concert will be a great opportunity for former students and fans alike to reconnect with Dr. Renfroe and the Music Department of MU.
