Skill Level: Refresher to Intermediate
This new quarterly offering challenges students to explore color, texture, line, and design principles over the course of several months. During class hours, students will paint, pour, spray, stamp, and make marks with nontraditional painting tools and techniques. Open Studio hours are included in each student’s tuition, Monday-Friday 10-5 and select weekends, allowing students create a sustained body of work exploring these new techniques.
Materials fee: a materials fee of $30 covers a selection of papers, canvas, paints and supplies. Please bring cash or a check made payable to the instructor on the first day of class.
A former national and state award-winning photojournalist, Christine Goldbeck holds a Master of Fine Arts-Interdisciplinary Arts (MFA-IA) from Goddard College in Plainfield, VT. She has exhibited her work widely, in solo shows, premier fine craft fairs, and in group shows and nontraditional locations. Christine owns Arts on Union, a gallery and design studio in Middletown, PA., where she hosts guest artists and teaches.
