Emilie Snyder: A Life in Art Closing Reception

The Lancaster Museum of Art is hosting a memorial exhibit in honor of Emilie Snyder, a local artist and teacher who passed away in February. Titled “Emilie Snyder: A Life in Art,” the show will run from April 5 through May 19. The Marietta resident has left a large body of paintings collages, mixed media and drawings produced over a period of over thirty years.
The exhibit will feature a sampling of this work with a portion offered to the public via a silent auction to be held throughout the run of the show. Part of the proceeds is earmarked to benefit the museum which has sponsored past exhibits of her work.
The exhibit will close with a wine reception and final auction bidding on Sunday May 19th from 4 p.m to 6 p.m.
