Over the Edge

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region takes you to a birds-eye view of Harrisburg with Over the Edge, a breathtaking adventure from the rooftop of Harrisburg’s Market Square Plaza building.

You’ll rappel 18 stories (a 220 foot descent) to raise funds and awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters’ one-to-one youth mentoring program, providing children with a much needed mentor, a Big, to help guide them through life’s challenges. Each participant raises $1,000, asking friends, family, coworkers, community groups and sports team members to make a donation.

Everyone is invited to watch the spectacle on October 19th as individuals rappel down the Market Square Plaza building on 2nd Street in downtown Harrisburg. There are limited spaces available; already over 50% are reserved. Register today at capbigs.org to secure your spot on the roof.

Participants must weigh between 100 and 300 lbs. to rappel. No experience required!
