Pages of the Past bookstore, 13 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, will host several accomplished authors for events in early July. Dr. Allen C. Guelzo, the Henry R. Luce Professor of the Civil War Era and Director of Civil War Era Studies at Gettysburg College, will speak on his newest release, Gettysburg: The Last Invasion (Knopf, May 2013), on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. Historian Jay Winik describes Dr. Guelzo’s work as “fresh, fascinating, and compellingly provocative…and a book that deserves to be read and savored.”
