Casting performers (actors, singers, dancers) for our 2017 productions at a variety of venues in Lancaster, PA. Adults, teens, and children roles are available.

PRiMA primarily rehearses in the evening, working around other professional theaters’ schedules. The company provides modest stipends to performers in featured roles. Non-equity. Union guest artist contracts as needed. Housing may be available, but preference goes to local talent with their own housing.

Tick Tick Boom (Musical)

The March 2017 production of Tick Tick Boom will be cast by the time of these auditions.

Retro Remix (Theatrical Concert)

Turn the dial on today's top radio standards with retro-pop versions of your favorite songs in this theatrical lounge experience. Inspired by the Youtube and internationally touring sensation, Postmodern Jukebox.  Non-musical theatre singers (pop-rock, vintage-sounding vocals) are encouraged to audition.

Evita (Musical)

Evita tells Eva’s passionate and tragic story through Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s most dazzling and beloved score, which includes “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” “Another Suitcase in Another Hall” and “High Flying Adored.” All roles are available.

Sinatra Holiday Speakeasy (Cabaret)

Everyone loves the songs of Frank Sinatra. Add a PRiMA speakeasy environment and you’ve got a holly jolly night to remember. Join us for an evening of timeless music, holiday cheer, and a classic cocktail from Lancaster’s nest mixologists. Singers who play instruments are especially welcome.

Have two contrasting pieces prepared in case you are asked for more

Dancers

Headshot/resume and contemporary dance attire

Video Submissions: If you are unable to attend the audition, send a short video, headshot and resume before January 13 to casting@primatheatre.org.
