Anniversary Weekend and Local Food Demonstrations

Lemon Street Market is celebrating three years in business in October 2014, with a weekend of special events planned for the community.
Scheduled activities include food demonstrations and samples from local vendors.
Friday, October 17: Daisy Flour pie crust making demonstration, 1-3pm (plus, receive a free bag of pastry flour if you sign up for their pie baking contest in November)
Saturday, October 18: Wine-bottling demo and book signing with Lori Stahl, local beekeeper and author of Wine at Home , 11am-1pm
Saturday, October 18: Applesauce Demonstration with Betsey Sterenfeld of Essen Cooking, who will share some time-honored secrets to making applesauce from the best apples of the season. Create your own flavors at her Applesauce Bar, 10:30am-12:30pm
Sunday, October 19: Sample some of Lancaster County’s finest artisan cheeses with Farm Fromage, 12-3pm
In addition, the market has sales and specials planned throughout the month to coincide with these nationally recognized food-related holidays in October: Fair Trade Foods Month, GMO Awareness Month, National Cheese Month, and National Bulk Foods Week.
Lemon Street Market is a full-service, locally-owned grocery store and cafe with a focus on local, regional, and world-sourced healthy foods and sustainable goods.
