Tammy is a housekeeper at United Zion Retirement Community. During the shutdown, she took on multiple shifts and took on new duties as she worked to keep their healthcare residents safe. She did all of this with a cheerful smile and a can-do attitude.
Who has been your biggest influence?
My parents. They taught me work ethic and responsibility.
What motivated you to be part of the community?
It’s my job. I believe in doing the best you can in anything you decide to do.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Have more confidence in yourself.
What’s your idea of self care?
Trying not to take work home, spending time with my family, and having fun.
