Jackie and Chase met in middle school and were best friends. They started dating during their senior year of high school and never stopped. Chase proposed to Jackie the same way he asked her to prom—with a scavenger hunt. He led her back to the spot where he asked her to prom to propose. Later, he had an engagement party planned with family and friends. Since they had a fall wedding, Jackie chose navy and gold for the color scheme. The bridesmaids wore navy dresses, with gold accents in the decorations. Chase and the groomsmen wore tan suits with navy ties. Jackie’s dress had all the details she thought she wouldn’t like, such as a strapless sweetheart neckline, beading and a train. But it was amazing and she felt so comfortable in it. On their wedding day, they wrote letters to each other and read them before their “first look.” Doing a first look was essential for them to have time together before the wedding. Jackie wrote their ceremony and her uncle officiated. The cake had three flavors: lemon with raspberry icing, chocolate with cream cheese frosting, and chocolate chip cake with buttercream frosting. Jackie and Chase honeymooned in Breckenridge, Colorado. Jackie’s sister planned the whole trip with dinners, outings, couple’s massages, and more; they got their itinerary at the airport when they flew out.
