Allie & Jim

Jim and Allie lived across the hall from each other for two whole years before going on a first date and realizing their love for one another. Seven months down the road, they got engaged in Bethany Beach, Delaware. In 2019 the gorgeous couple celebrated their wedding in the most cozy, romantic and orthodox way, surrounded by their closest friends and family.

Special decor touches within this reception brought the whole picture together, including lots of greenery and candlelight, colors of creams and pinks, and touches of blue and gold. Regarding the reception, Allie notes that “The Bond/JDK Group absolutely hit it out of the park! They gave [us] a walk-through before all the guests came in. I’m so glad they did because it was fun to experience it, just the two of us, before everyone came in.”

A fun flair to this couple’s celebration was a donut wall, which satisfied the bride’s love of sweets. “As part of the wedding favor, we had pre-made boxes for everyone to take donuts home,” the bride mentions. To wrap up their day full of love, Allie and Jim did a “mini-moon” at a family member’s lake house, followed by a trip to Hawaii six months later.
