Hanging out at a winery is a great way to surround yourself with delicious wine, a chill atmosphere with friends, yummy food, and live music. Don’t forget to wear a stylish outfit for the endless photo opps bound to happen in such a beautiful place!
Here are five tips to remember when putting your outfit together when visiting a winery or any outdoor events this summer.

1. A Dress
Any color dress would work, but having a white dress on hand makes your choices more versatile (just be extra careful while drinking red wine). The length and fit of your dress is best if it is a lightweight material and easy to move in.
2. Denim Jacket
A denim jacket can make any dress more toned down. If you are on the hunt for a budget friendly denim jacket, try shopping at your local consignment shop or a consignment shop online. Whether in light or dark wash, you will want to bring your denim jacket in case the weather gets chilly, especially in the late spring/early summer months.
3. Comfortable footwear
Flats, wedges, and block heels are always winners. They pair great with dresses, so leave your stilettos at home. At most wineries you will be walking in the grass and your heels may get stuck.
4. Cross body bag and/or a tote
If you plan on buying a bottle or two to take home with you then a tote bag may be the way to go.
5. Lightweight scarf
