What is Clear & Brilliant? What are the benefits?
Clear & Brilliant is a laser treatment that restores your youthful glow, smooths and refreshes your skin, and allows for a deeper penetration of topically applied skin care products. It can also refine your skin’s texture by minimizing the appearance of pore size and shallow acne scarring, and lessens the look of melasma and brow spots (hyperpigmentation). It is a Hollywood favorite frequently used before “red-carpet” events.
How does it work?
During your treatment, millions of microscopic perforations are created in the skin. These perforations, and the heat of the laser, stimulate collagen production and exfoliation. During the healing phase skin will begin to firm, brown spots will lighten, lines become less deep, and texture becomes smooth and refined. Best results are seen after 4-6 monthly treatments.
How is it performed? Is there downtime?
Clear & Brilliant laser treatments are administered by our trained aestheticians. Once the skin has been cleansed, a topical numbing cream may be applied. After 20 minutes, the numbing cream is removed and goggles are applied to protect the eyes. During the treatment, a warm prickling sensation may be felt as the laser is passed over the skin several times. Post treatment, a customized anti-aging serum, and a chilled sheet mask is applied. Sunscreen is always applied to complete the treatment.
Since this is a non-ablative laser, there is no downtime, and no peeling or flaking. Skin may be pink and warm afterward for a day or two, resembling a mild sunburn. During the natural healing phase, the skin will feel a little rough, like sandpaper, but this texture will not be observed. You may continue to wear your regular makeup and most of your skin care products. After 5-7 days, your skin will emerge smooth bright and glowing!
