As a creative mind, it’s really hard for me to limit my talents to just one craft. I mean, I know that a jack of all trades is a master of none, but I love experimenting with creativity and giving it all I got. I enjoy writing content, editing content, styling clothes, posing in pictures, and collaborating with other creatives. Because of this, I figured that the best way to make the most out of my talents was to put it all in a blog. And so, The Cheetah Buzz website was born.
The Name’s Origin
Sometimes when people visit the blogsite, they always ask me how the name The Cheetah Buzz came about. The name of the blog was very much inspired by a college classmate who jokingly one day informed me that I looked like a cheetah. Yes, the animal that runs through a desert. That animal. Of course, I was stunned because no one has ever told me I looked like an animal before. Lucky for her, I really like cheetahs, so I took it as a compliment. After that whole debacle, the name kind of just stuck with me; and I used The Cheetah Buzz as the name of my Instagram modeling portfolio before deciding to change it to the name of my blog.
The Blog’s Mission
When starting out on the blog, I actually didn’t know what the blog’s mission was. I just wanted a space to share all of my best fashion styles, beauty tips, lifestyle changes, and bustling travels. But then, I realized there was a much bigger purpose. Amidst the pandemic, I was going through a lot mentally, physically, and emotionally. Using the blog, I wanted an outlet to write and let go of what I was going through in hopes that it would help others who are going through the same thing.
Now the blog’s mission is clear. The mission is to help other millennials (like myself) navigate through their self-confidence issues, find the perfect self-care routine, heal from their emotional traumas, and feel and look good along the way. In doing so, I want to foster ideas from perspectives worldwide, create meaningful connections, and promote creativity in all media forms. Once the foundation is set for the blog, I would love for other creative writers to come on board and share their perspectives on different topics that are discussed on the blog.
Excited for What’s to Come
Even though I launched/started the blog back in January 2020, I am so excited to see where this blogging journey leads. I’m hopeful in building networking opportunities, creative collaborations, writing better content that people actually want to read, and meeting new blogger friends. As a lot of bloggers know, the blogging world can be a bit lonesome sometimes.
Regular friends and family can be a great support system but when they don’t know exactly what you’re going through on a day-to-day basis, it can be hard to keep your hope alive in blogging. However, when you meet awesome blogging friends who are going through the same struggles as you, the blogging journey is a lot less scary. So far, I’m really enjoying the process of learning, growing, and pivoting when defeat tries to bring me down. The struggles are definitely showing me how strong I can be when I put my mind to something, don’t give up on it, and just keep fighting. In conclusion, I hope you’ll join me in this fight as I discuss different topics on personal style, self-care, and self-confidence. Till next time, Cheers!
