Happy Easter from Style Girls Bri and Erica with 2 tips for easy Easter eggs!
Want to decorate Easter eggs but on a time crunch? After you hard boil the eggs, you can make these adorable eggs in less than a minute each! And, you probably have everything you need to make them. The best part about this method is that each egg can look completely unique and adorable, but it requires zero artistic ability.
What you'll need:
- Hard boiled eggs
- Mod Podge (if you haven't realized, Mod Podge is my "go-to" for all crafting needs, but Elmer’s should work just fine)
- Paint brush
- Tissue paper or napkins (the thinner the paper, the better)
- Scissors
Directions: 1. Hard boil eggs 2. Cut or tear tissue paper or napkins into squares (about 6"x6" depending on egg size) 3. Use a paint brush to apply a light layer of Mod Podge to the back of the tissue paper or napkin 4. Lightly roll egg in the paper so that the egg is completely covered in paper 5. Smooth out the creases (be prepared - you will still have wrinkles) 6. Cut or tear off the extra paper Marbled Easter Egg Colorful, edible, easy By: Erica Keene
I love doing holiday crafts with my 9 year old, Mal! Honestly, she is much more crafty than I am, so I’m always looking for fun and creative activities to do with her. I love these eggs because rather than decorating the shell, you’re decorating the actual egg, so they are edible right away!
What you’ll need: - Hard boiled eggs - Food coloring/dye - Plastic zip bag Directions: 1. Hard boil eggs 2. Tap & lightly squeeze the eggs to create cracks in the shell 3. Put the eggs in the plastic and drizzle the dye on the egg 4. Let sit for 5-10 minutes 5. Rinse off the eggs with water in the sink 6. Peel off the shell 7. Enjoy right away or refrigerate for later. (These also make really pretty deviled eggs!)
