In June, the Style Girls embarked on a three month journey to explore “The Best” that Harrisburg, Lancaster and York have to offer. Each month, Susquehanna Style hosted a travel-themed party to celebrate each region, and its “blue ribbon" winning businesses selected by our readers.
On August 20, Susquehanna Style hosted their last bash of the summer completing trifecta of “Best of” parties, this time to celebrate the Best of York! Over 300 Style Insiders, local winning businesses, and community supporters arrived at Wyndridge Farm, York’s best venue, ready to party!

Guests grabbed one of Wyndridge’s crafty ciders or brews upon arrival and rocked the night away to tunes by DJ Freez from Freez Entertainment who brought the party!
The taste tour took partygoers on a sweet and savory journey across York. With tastes provided by Arooga’s, Baron Von Schwein, GingerBabies Catering, Isaac’s Famous Grilled Sandwiches, Providence Divine Cakes & Pastries, Victor’s Italian Restaurant, Wyndridge Farm, and York City Pretzel Company, it was certainly a tasty voyage!
Amusing detours and prizes were provided by Apple Automotive Group, CGA Law Firm , First Capital Credit Union, Haller Enterprises, and Krouse Travel. Plus, excursions provided by PhotOle Photography’s photo booth (don’t forget to check out the pics below!), a popup performance by our stewardess Sarah Timm-Hess from PR!MA Theatre, and a sneak peek from a new show, Meeting & Eating!

In route, guests cruised over to try the signature cocktail that was referred to as “fantabulous,” “refreshing,” and “the Bee’s Knees - literally!” The Bee’s Knees signature cocktail featuring Bluecoat American Dry Gin was delicious and regal!
Prefer first class? The VIPS, owners of the winning businesses, we’re giving an arial perspective of the party from their own lounge with exciting and elegant decor provided by Flair Events, voted best event decor company and best party planner.
After a long night of partying, how do you take your coffee? Thanks to our happy hour sponsor, Smith, Mayer & Liddle a Wealth Advisory Group at Janney Montgomery Scott, who “knows how their customers take their coffee” guests were able to have their coffee their way, and the spiked spirits were a popular choice.
It sure was a trip to remember! One guest even walked away with the grand prize raffle valued over $1,500, including a hot air balloon ride package provided by the Susquehanna Style and the US Hot Air Balloon Team! All proceeds from this amazing raffle benefited the Bring on Play.
