A cramped, outdated brick home recently experienced a transformation, pictured here, thanks to the KbE Design & Build team.
“We remodeled the entire first floor,” explains Aaron Riddle, president. “We removed multiple walls; installed a gorgeous transitional kitchen; replaced old, dark windows; and opened up the staircase for a good flow.”
The project propelled the home’s value beyond the dollar amount invested; perhaps more importantly, Aaron says, the homeowners were “ecstatic because what they envisioned came to life.”
The family-owned firm is a “one-stop shop” for full house remodels, in addition to kitchen and bathroom remodels. Known as Kitchens by Eileen for over 10 years, the company has been recently guided and expanded into KbE Design & Build by Eileen Riddle’s son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Esther. Longstanding relationships and partnerships include those with talented designers and skilled craftsmen.
“Attention to detail sets us apart,” says Aaron. Customers appreciate KbE’s design line-item proposals with “good, better, and best” design options, for example. They also appreciate project binders, which stay onsite, detailing every remodeling facet.
“We really listen to customers, in terms of identifying ‘pain points’ of their current space and how they’d like the new space to function,” Aaron says. “We especially focus on space planning.”
“Another thing that sets us apart,” says Esther, “Is that the workspace is tidied at the end of each day—which homeowners appreciate.” That cleanliness allows homeowners to see, first-hand, every detail of their home’s remodel day by day.
“Seeing a home’s transformation in your mind, then seeing it come to life during the final walk-through with the customer,” Aaron says, “is extremely rewarding.”
