YWCA of Greater Harrisburg "Power of Style" Fashion Show

Benefiting the YWCA of Greater Harrirsburg and domestic violence awareness programs, the "Power of Style" fashion show focuses on how fashion can empower women. Vendors Higashi Pears & Fine Jewelry, The Plum, Creative Elegance, Leaf of Eve, Maggie Adams, Baby Bug & Me, Presence and Tara's Bridal are hosting the event, held at the Westshore Country Club on October 11. PinnacleHealth and Auxiliary Signature "Chic PHantastic 2012" Fashion Show and Fall Luncheon

This benefit program, held on October 18 at the Hilton Harrisburg, will feature the latest fashion trends, jewlery, special items from Chic Boutique, and chances to win prizes in a raffle and swag bag giveaway. All proceeds from the PinnacleHealth and Auxilliary Signature-run benefit will go to the PinnacleHealth Mammogram Voucher program. IO Silver "Hearts in Style and Song" Fashion Show and Musical Extravaganza

Held in the glamorous Hershey Hotel Fountain Lobby and Garden Terrace Ballroom on October 12, this benefit combines an upscale fashion show with a silent auction, luncheon and live musical entertainment. Olivia's House "Chic in the City" Fashion Show

This lively runway fashion show will feature outfits from local York vendors Flair Fashions, Chico's and Renaissance Bridal. This event, held in the Yorktowne Hotel on October 12, wil also include hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and a few surprises to be revealed throughout the evening. All proceeds from the show will benefit Olivia's House, a grief and loss center for children. For more information, call 717-699-1133.

Park City Pink Promise

Park City Center will roll out the pink carpet on October 6 for a fashion show in Center Court raising awareness for breast cancer screenings and self-examinations. The event features fashions from Park City vendors, pictures on the "pink carpet," giveaways and the highlight of the day: the runway fashion show. This event also encourages attendees to visit Lancaster General Health representatives in Center Court for information on self-exams, breast cancer support and digital mammography resources.
