Destination: Reclamation
When it comes to wood furnishings in our homes, we look for carefully crafted, durable products that withstand the test of time. ABK Today of Lancaster guarantees this while staying within your budget. ABK Today uses top quality Amish-crafted wood in their custom kitchen and bathroom remodeling. The newest ABK division, The Reclamation Project, is repurposing wood from old buildings and other wood items. This rare wood, sometimes extinct, is then transformed into furniture, flooring, and even decorative pieces. The Reclamation Project uses a variety of types of wood from hidden treasures, antique trees, old houses, and barns, to create one-of-a-king finished products. - J.A.

New Brew
For the love of beer and all things local, this Harrisburg hot spot is one to check out. Serving as a brewery and tasting room, this newly opened business encompasses clean-tasting ales and lagers, as well as Pennsylvania wines and ciders. With eight beers currently on tap, they also serve their house-made ginger beer and specialize in drinks with quirky and zesty kicks such as their Zerosas, a sparkling strawberry wine with OJ, Zeroday Ginger Beer, and strawberry ginger puree, or their Sirona, a pink peppercorn and grapefruit pale ale. You can also enjoy local artists, musicians, food trucks, and weekly lip sync battles in the tasting room, as well as book private parties and events. Since grand opening, which took place in April, Zeroday has already managed to create a large presence for local community members and traveling foodies to celebrate the love of good beer and great company. - K.R.
