Barn-B-Q
The farm-to-table trend is rapidly expanding through Harrisburg, and we couldn’t be happier! One of the newest additions to the Capital’s crew of farmer-friendly eateries is Smoke. Described as “a modern American BBQ joint aiming to provide our friends and community with the best product by using local growers and family farms,” Smoke certainly throws down some delicious homestyle dishes. Come with an appetite to eat this: “The Boss Dawg,” a sandwich of pulled pork, bacon, grilled onions, pickles, cheddar and slaw, garnished with a bacon and chile reduction. Need we say more? BYOB to this BBQ joint today!

Sprinkled with Love
Created completely from scratch, as the store's name suggests, each cupcake at Scratch Cupcakes is frosted and baked with the finest ingredients, from sweet cream butter to freshly zested lemons. Laura Will, mother to two young boys, found the former candle shop and began the process of transforming it into a full-blown cupcake bakery. As a compassionate business owner with a heart for others, she plans on sprinkling a large amount of the proceeds into local and international charitable organizations. Some fun flavors include Mocha Latte, Raspberry Lemonade, Banana Split and even PupCups, a doggie bone flavor treat for hounds and pups alike. Come in to Scratch Cupcakes this summer get your fill of frosted treats!
