New Face, Old Fave
The Pressroom restaurant is newly renovated and features a banquet room called the Printer’s Plate and a second outdoor space named Park Bar. The Printer’s Plate is a new space for private, full-day events. It is equipped with upgraded technology fit for business meetings and all-day training events. Park Bar is a seasonal outdoor space located in Steinman Park. The bar is cut into the building and is open during warm months, with live music on the weekends. The demand for these new spaces came from an increase in guest count as well as a desire to freshen up their look.

Empowering Entrepreneur
Amma Johnson, a talented woman with marketing savvy and experience in retail and corporate settings, made the decision to follow her dream and become a fashion designer. Her new showroom in Harrisburg showcases her designs with bold colors and designs. For Johnson, this is not just about the fashion, it’s also about empowering women and giving them chances to better their lives. She runs small boutique classes to help women better their understanding of business and carries some of their things in her showroom. Her goal is to empower women not only in the area but also in developing countries by increasing production in Africa, where her parents are from, as well as using artisans from developing countries. She is hoping to expand the Amma Jo brand into a full-scale lifestyle brand. Amma Jo designs can be found online and in her showroom.

Hanging Around Helps
Stacy Hammel, founder of Imagine Your Yoga, offers a variety of yoga classes that make everyone feel like they belong. After being diagnosed with disk issues in her back, she found that aerial yoga worked best for her back problems. Her aerial yoga classes have a vinyasa flow to them, which includes stretching and strength building poses. Classes at the studio include hatha, vinyasa, kripalu and aerial yoga. The classes cater to a range of tastes with gentle classes or those that feel more like a workout. Imagine Your Yoga offers drop-in classes so you can find the type of yoga that suits you.
