Thirsty Thursday just met its match with this house-smoked special from the Gas Station in Hummelstown. Don’t think that just because this dish comes for a bargain $10 that it skimps on size—or flavor. This mammoth piece of meat (we mean “Yabba Dabba Do” big)—accompanied by roasted smashed potatoes, green beans and house salad—will fill even the hungriest of dudes. The edges of the prime rib are coated with a crispy, smoky crust, thanks to a generous dry rub of salt, pepper, rosemary and mustard before the meat is smoked on-site for five hours. The rib is then sliced and grilled to your liking, plated with house-made horseradish cream and sent for you to devour. Paired with one of the Gas Station’s large assortment of microbrews and craft beers, this is a manly match made in heaven.
