Mary-Jane Rubenstein is associate professor of religion at Wesleyan University where she teaches in the Feminist, Gender and Sexuality Studies Program and is co-director of the Wesleyan’s certificate in Social, Cultural and Critical Theory. As a leading feminist voice in the contemporary philosophy of religion, Professor Rubenstein will approach the question of gender and sexuality from a new and original perspective.
Dr. Rubenstein's appearance in the Colloquium series is sponsored by the LVC Symposium on a Living Philosopher "Law and Love" taught by Professors Jeffrey Robbins, Philip Benesch, and Noel Hubler, and is made possible through funding from the 2014-15 President's Innovation Grants.
