Weeks, Woodin and Welch: A Romantic View of Pennsylvania
Demuth Museum E. King St., Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17602
This exhibit features the work of three Pennsylvania photographers: Eric Weeks, John Woodin and Christine Welch. Each is a formalist whose work repurposes 19th Century Romanticism’s interest in myth, decay and the sublime as a means of commenting on contemporary cultural issues. This exhibit highlights images that use the geography of Pennsylvania as the framework to convey the larger meaning in their work.
Museum Hours: Tues-Sat 10-4 and Sunday 1-4.
Price: admission by donation
