Singer - songwriter Ryan Peters in Concert at Emmaus Road Cafe
to
Emmaus Road Cafe Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17602
A native Pennsylvanian, Peters grew up in a small suburban town on the outskirts of York. He spent time listening to his parents’ records, which included the sounds of Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, and Fleetwood Mac. During his high school year's the influences of Live, Radiohead, Sting and the Police, and U2 began to take root.
While he attended East Stroudsburg University, this self-taught musician began to develop his own unique style. This is clearly evident in his recent recording of “The Game.”, which was chosen to open an edition of " Bad Girls Club " on the Oxygen network.
Following graduation, Peters moved to the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. The tropical paradise inspired Peters to further explore his musical calling. He performed at various venues including the Hard Rock Café and Sunset on the Beach, whose alumni consist of Elliot Smith and Jack Johnson.
Later, Peters decided to push his musical boundaries and moved to Nashville, TN, where he finished his solo EP entitled Uprooted, which earned commercial success with the song “ Overcome this Love ”, featuring Leigh Nash (Sixpence None the Richer), which was played on MTV's “ True Life ”. Peters now resides in Annapolis, MD, where he continues to write songs and move audiences.
Peters' latest album, Live Love Grow , recorded with Nashville-based producer Dustin Burnett (Newsboys, Augustana), released on May 7, 2013.
