The Scholastic Art Awards Exhibition
to
Demuth Museum E. King St., Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17602
Hundreds of artworks from Lancaster County students participating in two artistic competitions, Scholastics and Lancaster County Young Artists, will be on view at the Demuth Museum and Lancaster Museum of Art. These competitions open to junior and senior high school students celebrate the wealth of artistic talent found in the students of Lancaster County. We also would like to thank all of the art teachers throughout the county that help to nurture these young artist’s talents.
Scholastics is the first level of a national art competition. Exceptional works of art are submitted by hundreds of students to be judged first at the regional level here in Lancaster, with winning works moving on to the national competition. Over one hundred works winning Gold Keys, Silver Keys and Honorable Mention will be on display in this exhibition.
