Stretansky Concert Hall Cunningham Center for Music and Art, Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania
Last year’s residency by the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble was such a sensation that this year its music director, Kevin Noe, returns to Susquehanna for a full week. Since its founding in 1976, the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble has performed the world premieres of almost 300 works, and Noe himself has commissioned more than 50 new works in the last 10 years. In addition to his work in Pittsburgh, Noe is professor of conducting and director of orchestras at Michigan State University. Event is free and open to the public.
