The Happiness Habit: Getting Used to Inner Peace, Discipline & Love
to
Kalpa Bhadra Kadampa Buddhist Center Wiconisco Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17110
Although we want to be happy all the time, we do not know how to be, and because of this we usually destroy the happiness we do have by indulging in thoughts and activities that disturb our mental peace. We can see from our own experience that our mind is happy when it is free from agitation and distraction, and that our happiness comes from loving intentions, not selfish ones. It is quite simple to start re-training our mind in the methods for creating happiness, and if we do this we will experience a continual increase in our happiness month by month, year by year, throughout our lives.
